Because of this, any information given to this site will not be sold or used for any reason other than its stated purpose.  E-mail addesses or physical addresses may be used to send communications of upcoming events or electronic or mail newsletters, but will not be given or sold to any third party for any reason without the expressed written permission of the giver.  Letters sent to the Texas Triffid Ranch may be used as a source for discussion in Triffid Ranch forums or articles, and the name and/or address of the sender may be used unless the sender requests otherwise.  Hate or crank mail will be used for entertainment purposes.  Any questions about this policy should be referred to the proprietor, where they'll be answered promptly and thoroughly.
