Texas Triffid Ranch

All information offered on this site is offered "as is", and neither the Texas Triffid Ranch nor any employees will be held responsible for any loss, material or otherwise, based upon use or misuse of the information offered.  This site can and will discuss the cultivation and use of plants that could be harmful or fatal if misused, and the reader accepts all responsibility for the use or misuse of any information offered.  Any discussion of potential medical uses for plants, whether or not these plants are sold through the Texas Triffid Ranch, are also offered "as is", and any use of these plants or parts thereof should be discussed with a licensed physician.   Any questions about this disclaimer should be referred to the proprietor.  If you do not wish to accept any of the terms above, please leave this site immediately.

Plant care disclaimer

All plants sold through the Texas Triffid Ranch are checked for health before purchase, and all reasonable attempts to offer information on their care will be offered at the time of purchase and through the Plant Care Sheets available online.  These Care Sheets are also offered freely to interested non-customers for download, and will be updated as new information becomes available.  However, due to an inability to predict variables such as soil and water quality or available light, the Texas Triffid Ranch accepts no responsibility for any losses, financial or otherwise, that come from use or misuse of the information in any Care Sheet.  The reason why any information offered in a Care Sheet is offered as a best recommendation is because the plants can't be bothered to read them to know what they're supposed to do, and I've had many words with them about this.

Hell's half-Acre herald Disclaimer

The Hell's Half-Acre Herald, the Texas Triffid Ranch newsletter, is also offered for free download in good faith.  As a potential vehicle for satire, much of the content therein is offered for humor, and can't necessarily be used as accurate guides to horticulture as such.  Again, all information in an issue of the Herald is offered on an "as is" basis, and is oiffered for entertainment and informational purposes.  If you have any questions as to which leg is being pulled, or if it's being pulled at all, feel free to ask.
